Welcome to the Leicester Hand Unit website. Our dedicated team is committed to providing outstanding care for a wide range of hand and wrist conditions.
We are primarily based across of the main UHL sites, including the Leicester Royal infirmary, Leicester General Hospital, and Glenfield Hospital.
In addition, some our team run peripheral clinics and operating theatre lists in the Alliance Hospitals, including Hinckley and Loughborough.
Our Team.
We are a multidisciplinary team comprised of orthopaedic and plastic Hand and Wrist Consultant Surgeons, a TIG (advanced post-CCT) fellow, Specialty Registrars, hand therapists, specialist nurses and theatre practitioners, and plaster technicians.
We work closely with colleagues in several other specialties, including anaesthetists, rheumatologists, radiologists, and neurophysiologists, to ensure we provide the highest quality of safe care for a wide range of elective and trauma conditions.
